ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

The Central Coast Jewish Heritage Festival is a vibrant, family-friendly weekend celebration of Jewish culture, community, and tradition in the heart of San Luis Obispo. Now in its second year, the Festival brings together people of all religions and backgrounds for a dynamic experience featuring live music, food, cultural exhibits, and interactive activities for all ages.

Kick off the Festival weekend with a special screening of TOVAH, a documentary by David Serero spotlighting acclaimed actress Tovah Feldshuh, with appearances from Oscar Isaac, Dustin Hoffman, Kristen Bell, Patti LuPone, and more.

Sunday’s Festival Day at Mitchell Park is expected to draw an even larger and more diverse crowd than last year’s inaugural event, which welcomed more than 300 attendees. As Jewish engagement and community partnerships continue to grow across the Central Coast, the Festival reflects a spirit of inclusivity, education, and joyful celebration.

Whether you are Jewish, have Jewish friends or family, or are simply interested in learning more about Jewish culture and traditions, you are warmly welcome to attend.
